We introduce you to three of the city’s most vibrant inner city foodie locations. Surrounded by beautiful heritage buildings, the Britomart precinct is full of eclectic cafes, restaurants, cool bars and a fantastic city farmers market (Saturdays only), making it the hippest new district in town. The beautiful Viaduct Harbour features many award-winning restaurants. The revitalized Wynyard Quarter shows off its new eateries and bars, open picnic spaces and Auckland’s Seafood Market. Tastings include exceptional coffee, bakery treats, chocolates, cheeses, ice cream, seafood and produce. This is a half day tour.
Auckland City Revealed:
This half-day morning tour will cover the highlights of Auckland, complete with a drive through the central business district, past Auckland University and through The Domain (the inner city park). You'll visit the picturesque suburb of Ponsonby before heading over the Harbour bridge to the North Shore. There will be time for a beach stroll and coffee before heading up the summit of Mt. Victoria where you'll be treated to stunning panoramic views. * Can be combined with Wilderness Experience tour to form a full-day option.
This half day excursion allows you to travel just outside of Auckland to the city's largest regional park, the Waitakere Ranges. You'll walk an easy bush track through the lush rainforest amongst giant tree ferns and New Zealand's famous Kauri Trees. Move on to experience the wild and rugged West Coast with amazing black-sand beaches and views. * Can be combined with Auckland City Revealed to form a full-day option.
Waitomo and Hobbiton Experience:
Travel by deluxe coach to the small town of Waitomo. Enjoy a guided tour through the world famous Waitomo Glowworm Caves with their amazing stalactites, stalagmites and limestone formations. Enjoy a magical boat ride through the Glowworm Grotto - a subterranean cavern lit up by the lights of thousands of tiny glowworms. From Waitomo via Rotorua enjoy a scenic drive to the picturesque 1,250 acre farm near Matamata where scenes from the Lord of the Rings and Hobbit movies were filmed. Learn how this beautiful farmland was transformed into The Shire from Middle-earth. You will see Hobbit holes, the Green Dragon Inn & the Mill from the movies. Upon completion return by coach to Auckland. Note: this is a full day tour, departing at 7.30am and returning at 8.10pm.

National Maritime Museum:
Discover the city's proud seafaring history at the National Maritime Museum in the heart of Auckland's waterfront. The museum exhibits a diverse range of nautical and historical artefacts that represent New Zealand's maritime history, from the earliest Polynesian arrivals to modern day seafaring. All displays are originals from boats to life size exhibits, and include an amazing collection of models and artifacts.
Auckland Museum is the first stop for anyone wishing to understand the story of New Zealand and it's people. The Museum tells the story of New Zealand, its place in the Pacific and its people. The Museum is a war memorial for the province of Auckland and holds one of New Zealands top three heritage libraries. It has pre-eminent Maori and Pacific collections, significant natural history resources and major social and military history collections, as well as decorative arts and pictorial collections. Coast & Rainforest:
Enjoy a full-day excursion to the wild and rugged West Coast where you will enjoy an exploration and stunning views at the Arataki Visitor Information Center, then a guided tour through the coastal rainforest (complete with full explanations of the local flora and fauna) to a black sand beach. After a kiwi-style picnic lunch at a scenic location, you will continue to an untouched original rainforest to learn about the mature 1,000 year-old kauri trees.
