White Water Rafting & Jetboating:
Begin with a Shotover Jet ride - an adrenaline rush you will never forget. Your driver skillfully whips the boat past rocky outcrops, skims around crags and boulders and then spins the boat around 360 degrees in its own boat length! Next, face the whitewater of the famous Shotover River. Rafting from Deep Creek over peaceful waters at first, we head toward the exhilarating rapids of Rock Garden, Shark Fin, Jaws, Sequel and the unforgettable 170m Oxenbridge Tunnel before bursting into Cascade Rapid to complete this adrenaline fueled adventure! Mt Nicholas Farm Experience / Cruise / 4WD Farm Tour:
Enjoy a return cruise to Mt Nicholas High Country Farm on the western shores of the lake on a modern, spacious, purpose-built catamaran with spectacular views towards Glenorchy, Mt Earnslaw, the Southern Alps and Remarkables mountains. You will join the farm guide on a walking tour of this truly authentic, working high country merino sheep farm. Watch the farm guide round up sheep & meet working farm animals. Then sit back and watch the landscape unfold as you get off the beaten track to spectacular vantage points by 4WD vehicle. Enjoy a morning or afternoon tea and a light Kiwi BBQ (summer) or soup and bread roll (winter) at the woolshed before the return cruise to Queenstown.
Routeburn Track Guided One Day Hike:
Your walk begins among towering ancient beech trees and blankets of moss and fern, climbing gradually and skirting the thundering Routeburn River. Just 90 breathtaking minutes later the woodland parts to reveal the rich grassland of Routeburn Flats, overlooked by cloud-scraping mountain stacks. A short stride through more alpine forest, the walk continues to climb through a vast alpine meadow to the Harris Saddle, some 1300 metres above sea level. High up in the clear mountain air a 360-degree view looks out along the Hollyford Valley to the Tasman Sea, and inland. The duration of this walk is entirely flexible and dependent on the group's fitness levels (this can be privately guided also).
4WD Safari of the Scenes:
Explore Queenstown's scenic highlights and locations used for Lord of the Rings filming. Glenorchy half day tour offers breathtaking mountain and forest views along the shores of Lake Wakatipu. See film locations of Isengard and Ithilien Camp, plus beech forests near those used for Lothlorien. Wakatipu half day tour offers goldpanning, 4WD river crossings and diverse scenery - from towns, to rolling farmland, mountains, to the famous Kawarau bungy bridge. Views of the film locations of Minas Tirith, Misty Mountains, the Pillars of the Kings (Argonath), the site of Isildur's fall, & the Ford of Bruinen and Deer Park Heights, where the Rohan refugees and the battle with the Wargs were filmed.
The Ride of the Rings Horse Trekking:
A fabulous half day excursion combining a beautiful 4wd tour to Paradise and a horse ride in the majestic Dart Valley, Glenorchy. The 50km round road trip from Glenorchy to Paradise, and up to Mount Aspiring National Park, one of New Zealand’s three World Heritage Areas, visits locations used in the filming of The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, Narnia and Wolverine. Whereas the gentle walking paced hour horse ride, provides fantastic views of the Wizard’s Vale and the Misty Mountains in the Dart Valley, the location of Isengard. Your knowledgeable guides will share movie facts and trivia, as well as commentary on the local area. Plenty of photo opportunities on and off horse! A wonderful experience for beginner riders, Lord of the Rings fans and movie buffs. Duration: 3hrs. Please also note that for the health and wellbeing of our horses we have strict rider weight limit of 220lbs. Min age: 5 years. *Can be combined with 'The River Wild' to form a full day tour.
The River Wild Horse Trekking:
This is a beautiful two hour horse trek with river crossings and magnificent views of The Misty Mountains and Lake Wakatipu. The ride is suitable for all levels of rider and is the best option for mixed ability couples and groups who are not experienced enough to join The Trilogy Loop, but can or want to learn to ride. This ride can be combined with the Ride of the Rings to form a full-day tour. For the well being of the horses, there is a 210 lb rider weight limit.
The Trilogoy Loop Horse Trekking:
Follow the trail of Saruman’s army as they departed Isengard on this epic 3-hour horseback ride. With breathtaking views of The Misty Mountains, Wizards Vale and the Mighty Methedras, the Trilogy Loop encompasses both the Rees and Dart River Valleys. There are several river crossings and magnificent views towards the head of Lake Wakatipu with plenty of opportunities for some faster paced riding. Some riding experience is required - not suitable for complete beginners. Can be combined with Ride of the Rings for a trip through the golden woods of Lothlórien, Amon Hen, and the 'Golden Mile'. This ride is suitable for advanced riders only. For the well being of the horses, there is a 210 lb weight limit. Min age 12 years.
Dart River Funyaks:
Journey into the pristine wilderness of a World Heritage Area, deep into the heart of Mt Aspiring National Park, in the Southern Alps of New Zealand. Your Dart River experience has a magnificent backdrop. Snow capped mountains range over a glacial valley, blanketed by ancient forest, it's breathtaking. Travel by jetboat to the upper part of the Dart River, and then at your own pace paddle downstream, exploring the intriguing chasms and byrnes along the way down. The color of the water in these areas is spectacular. Enjoy a sumptuous buffet lunch and return through Paradise. Funyaks is suitable for most ages with average fitness.

Relive the elegance of turn-of-the-century travel with a cruise aboard the vintage steamship TSS Earnslaw, the only coal fired passenger carrying vessel still operating in the southern hemisphere. Affectionately known as the “Lady of the Lake”, the TSS Earnslaw has been transporting goods to remote settlements and conveying passengers on beautiful Lake Wakatipu since 1912. What better way to view the magnificent scenery & gain a charming insight into New Zealand high country life than by taking a cruise to Walter Peak High Country Farm, on the western shores.

Bungy Jump:
Kawarau Bridge - The world's first commerical bungy site! The Kawarau Bridge Bungy - home to the original 43-metre (142ft) Bungy Jump. If you've heard of Bungy, you've heard of Kawarau. The world's first and most infamous of leaps is still going strong, with tens of thousands Bungying each year. At the world's best-loved Bungy site, you can choose from a number of options; topple over backwards, forwards, with another person, spin or somersault. Kawarau Bridge Bungy is also the only Bungy in Queenstown where you can choose to bob above the water, touch it, or be fully immersed. Minimum age 10 years.
Station 2 Station Cycle Trail:
The perfect half day, independent cycling trip experiencing the best that Queenstown has to offer. Enjoy a cruise to Mt Nicholas High Country Farm on the western shores of Lake Wakatipu on a modern, spacious, purpose-built catamaran. Enjoy spectacular views towards Glenorchy, Mt Earnslaw, the Southern Alps and Remarkables mountain range. Disembark the vessel and journey between Mt Nicholas and Walter Peak Stations (high country farms) as you cycle along a quiet country road through open farm land at your own pace. There is a small climb to start, then the remote, but public, shingle road levels out and continues over easy terrain alongside the lake. Watch the landscape unfold and take in the panoramic alpine views while cycling to the Colonel’s Homestead at Walter Peak where you will enjoy a BBQ Lunch. Afterwards board the vintage steamship TSS Earnslaw for the return cruise to Queenstown. Moderate fitness required. 1.5 hours leisurely biking, gentle rolling terrain. Bike distance: 9 miles. This full day supported biking adventure lets you really experience Queenstown's magnificent scenery. You are given thorough directions, a map and trail tips before setting off on your ride following the shore of Lake Wakatipu, after morning tea at the historic Boatshed Cafe we drive you to the heart of the Wakatipu Basin for more scenic riding. Pause for a picnic lunch in historic Arrowtown, bike along the beautiful Arrow and Kawarau Rivers to the Historic Kawarau Suspension Bridge - home of the famous Kawarau Bungy. Finish with a relaxing wine tasting and cheesery visit. Transport back to your accommodation is included. This trip can be catered to any level of rider and is well supported along the way. Distances can be tailored to your needs with vehicle support at designated points along the trail allowing you to hitch a ride if required. Approximate biking distance is 30kms - all off-road.
